In this composite elective course, you will learn about Sustainability in Chemistry from five research programs: Oxide and Organic Nanomaterials for Energy and Environment (ONE) Laboratory (Prof. Yavuz); Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy and Four-dimensional Electron Imaging (Prof. Mohammed), Nanostructured Polymeric Membrane Laboratory (Prof. Nunes), Low-carbon Energy Conversion and Storage Lab (Prof. Lu), and Laboratory of Organic Materials (Prof. Heeney). The subjects will cover a wide range of materials design and analysis, particularly the sustainable nano, porous, and organic materials, membranes, spectroscopy, and green hydrogen economy.
