MSE 300 "Green" Optoelectronics
This course aims to explain the principles of photonic materials and energy efficient optoelectronics (so called ‘Green’ photonics or optoelectronics). Lectures will present theory of semiconductor materials physics and principles of their optical applications, and optoelectronic devices physics. Homework will consider problems related to theory and fundamental understanding on light emitting diodes, photodetectors (including solar cells).
