Applied Mathematics and Computational Science (AMCS)

The Applied Mathematics and Computational Science (AMCS) program provides students with the skills to formulate and solve mathematical and computational models for real-world problems. We offer two distinct degree programs: an MS degree (with both thesis and non-thesis options) and a PhD degree. Please note that admission to the MS program does not automatically guarantee subsequent admission to the PhD program. 

The AMCS program offers three specialized tracks: Applied Mathematics (AM), Computational Science and Engineering (CSE), and Data Science (DS). The specifics for each track are detailed below.
