B 329 Fundamentals of Neuroscience
Neuroscience is an important field of study and research to understand brain structure and function, micro and macro circuits involved in sensory perception, motor control and higher cognition. Understanding of the fundamental principles governing these processes will help understand how specific brain circuits are implicated in neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders. This course provides all the background needed for students to understand these principles and thereby understand and appreciate all new literature in the field of sensory and systems neuroscience.
